Dolly's Tearoom, renowned for its delightful dining experience, is on the lookout for a motivated commis chef apprentice to become part of our vibrant kitchen brigade. Whether you are a seasoned home cook or just starting your culinary journey, this position provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your cooking skills and express your creativity.
In this role, you will gain practical experience in food preparation, maintain hygiene standards, and support the Head Chef in crafting exceptional dishes. By working in both Dolly's Tearoom and its associated venues, you will be exposed to a diverse range of culinary techniques and styles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in hands-on kitchen training, focusing on food preparation and service
  • Assist the Head Chef in creating freshly made dishes
  • Perform daily cleaning and washing duties
  • Deliver outstanding customer service through our food offerings
  • Manage portion sizes and reduce waste to support profitability
  • Comply with health, safety, and food hygiene standards

Candidate Requirements:

Apprentices should be adaptable to the scheduling needs of the business, with a willingness to work overtime if necessary.
Preference will be given to local applicants.

Educational Background:

No formal qualifications are required.
