Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Commis Chef to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food, while developing your culinary skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of freshly prepared food, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Participate in kitchen cleaning and maintenance, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Contribute to the delivery of exceptional customer service, working closely with the Head Chef and other team members.
  • Help control food costs by minimizing waste and ensuring accurate portion control.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of statutory requirements, including health and safety, food safety, and fire safety.

Requirements

We are looking for a flexible and reliable individual who is willing to work varying hours to support the needs of the business. Overtime will be paid at the hourly rate. Local residence is preferred.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £9,984 in year one, plus tips and overtime. Additional benefits include meals in work, friends and family discount, and full training.
