About the Role
Are you passionate about shaping the future of network infrastructure? Boldyn Networks is seeking a talented Senior Network Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and optimizing cutting-edge network solutions for our clients.
As part of our Wi-Fi Organization, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our network infrastructure standards are met across all levels. Your expertise will be relied upon to design, plan, implement, and manage the network infrastructure, contributing to a dynamic and challenging work environment.
What You'll Be Doing- Design and plan service provider network infrastructure, encompassing LAN, WAN, and data center environments. This includes selecting appropriate hardware, software, and protocols (BGP, eVPN, IPv6, SRv6) to meet current and future requirements.
- Collaborate closely with clients in a pre-sales capacity to understand their technical needs and budgetary constraints.
- Develop comprehensive bill of materials and obtain quotes for network and server components.
- Create detailed network diagrams, encompassing both high-level and low-level designs, which will serve as blueprints for implementation.
- Implement and maintain robust network security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats.
- Assess network capacity requirements, anticipate growth trends, and ensure the network's scalability to accommodate increasing traffic and devices.
- Continuously monitor and optimize network performance to guarantee low latency, high availability, and minimal downtime. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues.
- Maintain meticulous network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) to maintain a secure and compliant network environment.
