Job Title: Site Contracts and Budget Specialist

At Lifelancer, we're seeking a highly skilled Site Contracts and Budget Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing site-facing contract and budget negotiations, ensuring seamless execution of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the clinical contract and NDA process for global trials, ensuring timely execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations and the Legal group to facilitate contract requests, including Confidentiality Agreements, Clinical Trial Agreements, and other clinical contracts.
  • Process clinical contract requests and facilitate early execution through our Contract Management System.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during contract negotiation phase, ensuring excellent customer relations.
  • Perform quality audits of work output and document knowledge base as needed.
  • Maintain contract tracking on SharePoint site and other systems used to manage contract and budget files.
Negotiating Clinical Site Contracts and Budgets:
  • Manage the contract process from initial template stage to fully negotiated contract, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Work closely with study teams to develop country budget templates tailored for each study, ensuring accurate and timely budgeting.
  • Negotiate and manage consistent site budgets that facilitate early site activation, ensuring smooth trial execution.
  • Ensure consistency in site payment schedules and terms to facilitate the payment system.
  • Respond to queries related to contracts and budgets, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Manage the contract escalation process to appropriate individuals, as needed.
  • Establish good customer relations with sites, starting with the primary point of contact for budgets and contracts.
  • Analyze contract trends using available tools and assist with developing team metrics regarding contract timelines.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of global experience working in a biotech or CRO, finance and/or business environment as a contract analyst/specialist.
  • Experience negotiating contract payment terms and budgets with UK sites is essential.
  • Intermediate Excel and database management skills.
  • Knowledge of GCP/ICH requirements.
