We're seeking a skilled Operations Technician to join our team at Torness Station. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe, smooth, and reliable operation of our nuclear power plant.
About the Role
As an Operations Technician, you'll be responsible for monitoring the plant's condition, identifying and resolving sub-standard conditions, performing minor tool pouch maintenance, and reporting civil defects through our helpdesk processes. You'll also respond to requests from the control room to investigate plant alarms and perform required operations.

- Work effectively within a team environment to ensure safe and reliable plant operation
Requirements
We're looking for a skilled and safety-focused individual with previous operational or engineering work experience in a heavy process environment. You'll need to have a solid understanding of plant operation, design, and theory, as well as the ability to follow written process instructions and complete paperwork accurately.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £37,169 - £46,963, with a shift allowance starting from £11,359 per annum. You'll also have access to comprehensive training and development opportunities to help you succeed in your role.
