Operations Technician

Are you passionate about ensuring the safe and reliable operation of a nuclear power plant? Do you have a strong background in heavy process environments and a focus on safety?

The Opportunity

As an Operations Technician at EDF, you will be responsible for monitoring the plant's condition, identifying and resolving sub-standard conditions, and performing minor tool pouch maintenance. You will also be required to control and closely monitor the plant and equipment to support the process, following procedures and applying conservative decision-making techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the plant's condition and identify and resolve sub-standard conditions
  • Perform minor tool pouch maintenance and report civil defects through the helpdesk process
  • Control and closely monitor the plant and equipment to support the process
  • Investigate and rectify plant faults within your area of demonstrated competence

Requirements

  • Previous operational or engineering work experience in a heavy process environment
  • Relevant qualifications and a focus on safety
  • Ability to follow written process instructions and complete paperwork accurately
  • Good level of computer literacy, including use of Word and Excel
