Job Description

United Living Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the effective management of gas transmission and distribution contracts nationwide. The successful candidate will ensure programme requirements are met while working in line with company and divisional objectives, achieving client and customer aspirations and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects to achieve targets in respect of safety, time, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement project delivery plans, including design, safety, quality management, resource planning, and commercial management.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety regulations, and environmental management standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure robust contract and delivery programmes are produced, including design and procurement, and that the team takes full ownership.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Experience in managing gas transmission and distribution contracts, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Commercial and programming awareness, with experience using NEC forms of contract.
  • Site management safety certificate (SMSTS/IOSH Managing Safely) and proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Ability to travel on a weekly basis, lodging where required, and hold a full UK driving license.
