Area Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Area Manager. This role is crucial for driving our growth in the commercial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Estimation: Accurately estimate project costs from initial design through to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial market, leveraging your expertise in the glazing industry.
- Tender Management: Manage the tendering process, ensuring timely and competitive submissions that meet our high standards.
- Sub-Contractor Management: Oversee and manage sub-contractors to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met, maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
- Quality Control: Maintain high quality standards across all projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
Desirable Attributes:
- Proven ability to achieve project deadlines and manage budgets effectively, with a strong track record of success.
- Strong knowledge and experience in tender management and submission, with a deep understanding of the glazing industry.
- Excellent sub-contractor management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams to deliver high-quality results.
- Prior experience with glazing projects, particularly in the commercial sector, with a strong understanding of the market and its trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
