Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Commercial Sector Project Manager. This role is crucial for driving our growth in the commercial sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with glass-focused projects and a deep understanding of the glazing industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Estimation: Accurately estimate project costs from initial design through to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial market, leveraging industry connections and market research.
  • Tender Management: Manage the tendering process, ensuring timely and competitive submissions that meet client requirements.
  • Sub-Contractor Management: Oversee and manage sub-contractors to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high quality standards across all projects, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting project successes and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, with a strong understanding of industry principles and practices.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the glazing industry or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CSCS card) are advantageous, demonstrating a commitment to industry standards and best practices.
