About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Domestic Assistant to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our hospitals, ensuring that our patients, staff, and visitors have a clean and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Deep clean areas and equipment, including bathrooms and kitchens
  • Assist with laundry and linen duties
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the domestic team to achieve shared goals

Requirements

  • Good general education at GCSE level or equivalent
  • Knowledge of manual handling and health and safety regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other domestic team members
