Job Summary:

Away Resorts is seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences in our bars and restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet guests with a friendly welcome, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Take food orders and ensure that guests receive their orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Serve behind the bar, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all guests are satisfied.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and tidy.
  • Supervise and motivate the food and beverage team, ensuring that they are providing exceptional customer service.
  • Cash up at the end of shifts and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate.
  • Set up or close down of the facility, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are in good working order.
  • Restock supplies and ensure that all areas are well-stocked.
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, ensuring that the facility is operating in a safe and compliant manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role in food and beverage, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • A natural leader and role model, with the ability to motivate and inspire the team.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • A people person, with a genuine interest in providing exceptional customer service.
