ALN Caseworker and Family Liaison Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Caseworker and Family Liaison Officer to join our team within the Additional Learning Needs (ALN) service. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with schools and settings to provide support and guidance to families of children and young people with ALN.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have experience of liaising with a range of professionals and outside agencies, as well as a working knowledge of external and internal policy and practice relating to ALN. You will be committed to securing improved outcomes for children and young people with ALN and have a strong drive to make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities- Provide families with information and guidance on a range of issues relating to ALN, including signposting to relevant agencies.
- Ensure that parents/carers and children and young people are at the centre of all planning and reviews.
- Be the main point of contact for families known to the service within a region.
- Co-ordinate all advice and reports as required to help inform decision-making within ALN panels.
