We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As an Autism Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our pupils with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to support pupils with autism and additional needs.
- Conduct standardized and non-standardized assessments to identify pupils' occupational and sensory needs.
- Develop and implement bespoke interventions to support pupils' development and well-being.
- Provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as required.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary therapy team to create a supportive and inclusive environment for our pupils.
Requirements:
- Occupational Therapy BSc (Hons) degree.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working with adults and/or children with autism and additional needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Substantial post-qualification experience in occupational therapy.
- Experience of lecturing, teaching, or training.
- Skills in data management and analysis.
- Experience of working with or qualification in sensory integration.
- Experience of supervision and training of staff.
