About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As an Autism Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our pupils with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to support pupils with autism and additional needs.
  • Conduct standardized and non-standardized assessments to identify pupils' occupational and sensory needs.
  • Develop and implement bespoke interventions to support pupils' development and well-being.
  • Provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as required.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary therapy team to create a supportive and inclusive environment for our pupils.

Requirements:

  • Occupational Therapy BSc (Hons) degree.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working with adults and/or children with autism and additional needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Substantial post-qualification experience in occupational therapy.
  • Experience of lecturing, teaching, or training.
  • Skills in data management and analysis.
  • Experience of working with or qualification in sensory integration.
  • Experience of supervision and training of staff.
