We are seeking a highly skilled Service Transition Specialist to join our Digital Delivery team at NPL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering the transition of IT solutions and services into service operation.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the Service Transition Process: Ensure the smooth transition of new and updated services into operation, working closely with project and operational support teams to achieve operational readiness.
  • Interface with Project and IT Teams: Serve as the primary interface between project and IT teams for activities relating to Service Transition and handover, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of the service transition process.
  • Change Impact Assessment and Operational Readiness: Conduct thorough change impact assessments and operational readiness plans for the CIO Department, ensuring new services and continuous improvements of existing services meet NPL's needs.
  • Service Design and Support Model: Collaborate with the CIO leadership team to establish the service design and support model for new and updated services, ensuring services are managed, supported, and improved to meet NPL's needs.
  • Supplier Management and SLAs: Ensure all necessary 3rd party support agreements are in place for new and updated services, and that SLAs and supplier management roles and responsibilities are aligned with requirements.
  • Service Transition Framework Alignment: Ensure Service Transition Framework alignment with project activities and related deliverables are delivered to time, cost, quality, and scope.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement to ensure efficient and effective operational delivery, managing risks and issues for service transition.
  • Health and Safety: Take reasonable duty of care for the Health and Safety of yourself and others, and follow direct instructions regarding Health and Safety.
