We are seeking a highly skilled Service Transition Specialist to join our Digital Delivery team at NPL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering the transition of IT solutions and services into service operation.
The focus of this role is to ensure operational readiness to support effective transition from project teams to operations. You will work closely with project and operational support teams to achieve operational readiness within the CIO department and deliver the transition and handover of production deployments into appropriate NPL IT support frameworks.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering the Service Transition Process: You will be responsible for delivering the service transition process for new and updated services into operation.
- Operational Readiness Planning: You will work with project and operational support teams to achieve operational readiness within the CIO department.
- Transition and Handover: You will be responsible for delivering the transition and handover of production deployments into appropriate NPL IT support frameworks.
- Change Impact Assessment: You will be responsible for conducting change impact assessments and operational readiness plan activities for the CIO Department.
- Service Design and Support: You will collaborate with members of the CIO leadership team to establish the service design and support model for new and updated services.
- Supplier Management: You will ensure that all necessary 3rd party support agreements are in place for new and updated services.
- Service Transition Framework Alignment: You will ensure that service transition framework alignment with project activities and related deliverables are delivered to time, cost, quality, and scope.
- Continuous Improvement: You will support continuous improvement to ensure efficient and effective operational delivery, managing risks and issues for service transition.
We are a hybrid working organization, with a mix of remote and office working. We strive to offer a great work-life balance and are open to discussing part-time or flexible options for the right candidate.
