Senior Network Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at NPL. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, including on-prem and cloud-based services.
Our team of 12 is dedicated to providing operational infrastructure support across a range of areas, including network, endpoint configuration management, physical and virtual server infrastructure, enterprise storage, compute resources, telephony, and backup and recovery solutions. We also support a growing number of core services hosted in the cloud, primarily within the Microsoft 365 E5 stack, Azure, and other cloud service providers.
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will work closely with our cyber security team to ensure compliance with Cyber Essentials and ISO27001 requirements. You will also collaborate with our service management team to provide engineering escalations and change activity, and with our digital delivery team to implement new services and ensure operational readiness.
This role offers a wide range of responsibilities and the opportunity to focus on specific technology areas. You will play an important role in training and developing staff from Service Desk and Service Delivery areas.
