Role Overview

The Wise Platform enables enterprises to utilize our payment solutions to provide outstanding financial services to their clientele. Our APIs empower leading global platforms that offer functionalities such as payroll management, expense tracking, and invoicing to millions around the globe.

As we grow, we are looking for a Strategic Pricing Lead to become a vital part of our innovative Pricing team in London. Reporting directly to the Finance Lead, you will be instrumental in refining the pricing strategy of the Wise Platform by working closely with Sales, Finance, Product, and Operations teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Refine and enhance the pricing strategy for the Wise Platform, catering to new partnerships and product introductions.
  • Oversee precise tracking of revenue and operational expense forecasts, providing updates to essential stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with pricing analytics to improve unit economics distribution and adapt pricing frameworks.
  • Facilitate commercial negotiations and modeling for significant accounts, ensuring viable pricing strategies.
  • Establish pricing governance to comply with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate pricing initiatives across the finance sector in collaboration with Tax, Compliance, Accounting, and Treasury teams.

Qualifications:

About You:

  • Experience in finance, particularly in supporting a high-volume sales environment with intricate deal modeling.
  • Development of commercial models and tools to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Exceptional communication and persuasion skills in a dynamic setting.
  • Expertise in creating visual dashboards using platforms like Looker and Superset.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving with a structured methodology for addressing challenges.
  • Strong technical and commercial insight with a focus on business expansion.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in startup environments, especially within Fintech or cross-border payment sectors.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Prior experience working with pricing teams.
