Consultant Opportunity in Older Persons Medicine and Frailty

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic consultant to join our team in Older Persons Medicine and Frailty at Wexham Park. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the transformation of services for older adults, promoting innovative ways of working and collaboration between community providers and the acute Trust.

Our newly refurbished older people's unit is specifically designed to meet the needs of older adults, particularly those with dementia. We aim to provide excellent clinical care in a supportive environment that fosters individual growth and development.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work alongside our existing consultants to further develop our Acute Frailty Service, bringing individual special interests to build on our current services. We welcome applicants who are passionate about delivering integrated care and are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of older adults.

Requirements
  • Primary medical degree
  • MRCP or equivalent
  • Full GMC Registration/on specialist register of GMC
Desirable Skills
  • Accreditation in General and Geriatric Medicine - CCT or within 6 months of award
  • Experience of business planning
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team
