Role Overview:

In the capacity of Lead Legal Advisor, you will be tasked with delivering legal counsel, strategic insights, and compliance support across a diverse range of legal and regulatory matters within the EMEA region. You will collaborate closely with the EMEA leadership team, playing a crucial role in shaping informed decision-making processes at various organizational levels.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Formulating and negotiating commercial agreements and other contracts, including supply agreements, service contracts, sub-contracts, procurement, and partnerships.
  2. Establishing and nurturing constructive relationships with local leadership and other key stakeholders.
  3. Recognizing, tracking, and enhancing essential processes and internal controls.
  4. Ensuring adherence to the organization’s governance frameworks and policies.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience, having trained at a prestigious UK law firm or within an in-house legal department. Experience in a commercial in-house setting is preferred. Familiarity with the medical devices, biopharma, or life sciences sectors would be a significant advantage. Previous involvement in multi-jurisdictional matters with teams spread across different regions is also beneficial. This position is suited for an individual who is commercially savvy and excels in a dynamic, complex, and high-performance environment.
