Job Summary:
Ramsay Health Care Clinical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse to join our Theatre department. As an Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse, you will play a critical role in supporting our surgical teams and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theatre environment to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience.
- Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination during surgical procedures.
- Participate in the development and implementation of theatre protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the education and training of junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
- Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs.
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Flexible and positive attitude.
- A warm, considerate, and empathetic character.
