Financial Reporting Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our finance team in Burnley. As a PQ Management Accountant, you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts and providing commentary for the finance leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management accounts and commentary.
  • Monitor the accuracy of transactional processing and associated reconciliations.
  • Complete bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow forecasting on a weekly basis.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a PQ Management Accountant to progress their career and gain experience in financial and commercial reporting. You will work closely with the finance leadership team to develop and implement financial reporting routines and provide support for the Board of Directors.

Requirements:

  • Part Qualified Management Accountant (PQ) or studying towards CIMA/ACCA qualification.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing/engineering and associated month-end reporting routines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
