We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at The Calico Group. As a key member of our financial accounts team, you will be responsible for delivering the preparation and delivery of the Group\u2019s external financial reporting.

This role will involve:

  • Preparation and delivery of the Group\u2019s external financial reporting
  • Ensuring that financial controls are embedded across the team
  • Control account reconciliations completed and any discrepancies investigated and resolved
  • Production of the quarterly financial returns to the RSH for review.
  • Key contact for the Group\u2019s external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process
  • Calculation and payment of relevant taxes (VAT, Corporation Tax, CIS, PAYE etc)
  • Reviewing and preparing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Develop month end reporting information

THE PERSON

  • Experience of producing regulatory reporting and statutory accounts
  • An understanding of credit control, VAT, and other taxes
  • An ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, at all levels
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with Strong attention to detail
  • You should be ideally working towards a Professional Accountancy Qualification (or Qualified by Experience)
