Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Assistant to join our team at Rebus Recruitment Limited. As a Financial Reporting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Financial Controller in preparing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly profit and loss accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Work closely with cost centre leaders to understand internal expenditure and budgetary controls.
- Monitor stock reporting cycles, variances, and movements.
- Be the primary point of contact for stock-related queries, collaborating with sales and operational staff as needed.
- Report utilities and overhead accruals monthly.
- Track production and manufacturing volumes, monitoring weekly variances.
- Oversee the customer rebate system and calculations.
- Support the audit process and address any queries that arise.
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate who is actively studying towards qualifying in the profession through CIMA/ACCA and has a few years of experience in a finance department. You should have a solid understanding of transactional processing and reporting in a wider business context.
