About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapy Assistant to join our Community Stroke and Neuro Therapy team in North East Lincolnshire. As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our therapy staff in delivering efficient and effective patient care.
Main Responsibilities
As a Therapy Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing assistance to therapy staff in organizing and delivering patient care
- Assisting with clinical activities, such as preparing treatment plans and providing equipment
- Supporting with clerical and administrative duties, such as data collection and ordering equipment
- Accompanying therapists on home visits and visiting patient homes to carry out specific interventions
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Competent IT skills
- Experience working with people, preferably in a healthcare environment
- Ability to work independently with delegated tasks
- Access to transport and the ability to travel within the required geographical area
