About the Role
Teneo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Director to join our team. As a key member of our Public Affairs and Policy team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's narrative and influencing the political and policy landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large and integrated teams to develop and deliver strategic campaigns and policies that drive business results for our clients
- Provide high-level counsel to senior clients on business and politics, leveraging your expertise in government relations and communications
- Develop and implement comprehensive public affairs and policy strategies to advance our clients' interests
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and media representatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and deliver exceptional client service
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in a senior role in public affairs, government relations, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic campaigns and policies
- Excellent understanding of local and national government, as well as industry trends and developments
- Strong ability to shape and deliver strategic advice to senior-level clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
