Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Primary School in Croydon. The school caters for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and challenging behaviour.

The successful candidate will work in the school's specialist resource provision, supporting vulnerable children aged 4-11 years old. The SRP aims to provide a supportive environment that enables children to achieve their educational potential.

We are looking for someone who is committed to the personal learning plan of each child and is passionate about making a positive impact on their lives. The school team is welcoming and friendly, and we offer ongoing support and training to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with SEMH difficulties in a specialist resource provision
  • Work collaboratively with the school team to develop and implement individual learning plans
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and thrive

Requirements:

  • Child workforce DBS on the update service
  • Confident and experienced in working with children with SEMH or Special Educational Needs
  • Local to Kingston Upon Thames
  • Availability to work school hours (8.15am - 3.45pm)
