What We're Looking For:
  • Previous Experience: At least 1 year's experience working within a Primary Setting, with a proven track record of supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Behaviour Management: Proven ability to handle challenging situations, with a focus on de-escalation and positive reinforcement.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between students, staff, and parents/caregivers.
  • Passion for Education: A genuine passion for education, with a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
  • Enhanced DBS Check: A valid and registered Enhanced DBS Check, with the ability to work with vulnerable students.
Your Role:
  • Support Students: Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with Teachers: Work closely with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans, ensuring students receive the support they need.
  • Communicate with Parents: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and any challenges that may arise.
