Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Primary School in Croydon. The school caters for children with Social Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties and challenging behaviour.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position based in the school's specialist resource provision, supporting vulnerable children to achieve their educational potential. The ideal candidate will be committed to working with children who require additional support and will be passionate about their own personal learning plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with SEMH needs in a specialist resource provision
  • Work collaboratively with the school team to provide a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to meet the needs of individual children
  • Provide one-to-one support to children with SEMH needs
Requirements:
  • Child workforce DBS on the update service
  • Confident and previous experience working with challenging behaviour, SEMH or Special Educational Needs
  • Local to Kingston Upon Thames
  • School hours are from 8.15am – 3.45pm
