Job Title: EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

A dynamic and supportive Primary school in Croydon is seeking an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a Reception class setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in EYFS - Nursery / Reception
  • Support children on a 1:1 and small group basis in and out of the classroom
  • Assist with personal care and provide emotional support
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
  • Good degree, A levels & GCSEs
  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Experience working with non-verbal children and young children with autism an advantage
  • Calm and compassionate nature, sensitivity to additional needs
  • Positive, willing and adaptable member of the team
