Gap Healthcare is currently recruiting for a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a small children's home in Croydon. This is a permanent and full-time role, offering a salary of up to £55,000 per annum (based on experience).

Purpose of the Role:

To be responsible for shaping and delivering the children's residential home's Statement of Purpose and managing the team to achieve the same. To provide high-quality care services that support the needs of the residents, advocate for their well-being, and provide strong, motivational leadership to staff.

  • Manage a Children's Residential Home and ensure the efficient operation of the service in accordance with the relevant legislation, procedures, policies, and the Statement of Purpose for the home.
  • Act as the Registered Manager for Ofsted.
  • Ensure adherence to the Company's financial and administrative procedures and work within a set budget.
  • Be accountable for liaising with regulatory organizations regarding the management of the home.
  • Thorough understanding of OFSTED compliance.
  • Level 5 in Health and Social Care - Children Services.
  • Driver with access to a car.

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment for children and young people in care. You will work closely with the team to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each resident.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing a team of staff to deliver high-quality care services.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the home.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Managing budgets and resources to ensure the effective delivery of care services.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with regulatory organizations, stakeholders, and the community.
