Job Title: Children Residential Home Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Manager to lead our new 3-bed children's home in Hillingdon, London.

Job Purpose:

To manage and oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring it meets the organization's approach and ethos, and delivers high-quality care as outlined in the home's statement of purpose.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the residential home on a day-to-day basis, ensuring compliance with legislative and contractual requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to provide protection and support to children and young people in their care.
  • Support the development of children and young people, focusing on their psychological, emotional, and social growth.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
Requirements:
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services, or equivalent.
  • 2 years' experience working with children in the last 5 years, with at least 1 year at senior level.
  • Supervision or management experience, with a focus on working with children and young people.

This is an excellent opportunity for a progressive Residential Manager or Deputy Manager looking to take on a new challenge and lead a team in a residential setting.
