Job Overview

Bull Care Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Children's Home Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our Children's Home, ensuring that we provide a safe, nurturing, and comfortable environment for our young people.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead contact for OFSTED registration and ensure that our home meets the highest standards of care and compliance.
  2. Manage and lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to our young people.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that our home is in line with regulatory requirements.
  4. Manage the home's budget and ensure that we meet our key performance indicators for people, quality, and performance.
  5. Take overall responsibility for the management and leadership of the Children's Home, promoting high standards of care and ensuring that our young people receive the best possible support.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Manager/Deputy Manager in a children's home.
  • Reflective staff supervision, managerial, and communication skills.
  • Excellent Ofsted regulatory knowledge and experience of conducting supervisions with staff.
  • Must hold NVQ Level 5 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Preferred).

  • Children's home: 2 years (required).

Licence/Certification

  • Level 5 in Health & Social Care / Residential Childcare (required).
  • Enhanced DBS (required).
  • NVQ Level 5 or equivalent in children and young people (required).
