At Scottish Water, we are dedicated to safeguarding Scotland's most vital resource: water. Our mission is to ensure the delivery of clean, safe water from source to tap while maintaining our commitment to environmental stewardship.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Water Network Maintenance Specialist to become a key member of our Water Response team, primarily operating in the Glasgow region.

A valid, clean driving license is essential for traveling between various sites in the Glasgow area.

Preferred Skills

While not mandatory, experience with HGVs or excavators (180/360) is advantageous. Familiarity with cable avoidance tools and an understanding of health and safety regulations for site operations would be beneficial. Holding a CPCS or NSRWA qualification is a plus but not a requirement.

Employee Support

We recognize that work-life balance is important. This role may involve weekend shifts and standby duties, but you will enjoy generous leave benefits, including 38 days of holiday annually (inclusive of public holidays), with the option to purchase additional days. Opportunities for community volunteering are also available.

We offer family-friendly policies regarding adoption, maternity, and parental leave, along with flexible working arrangements to accommodate your needs.

For your future, we provide a pension plan and life insurance coverage. Additional perks include an annual company bonus and access to SW Splash, which offers discounts on various services.
