Your Role as a Water Network Maintenance Specialist

As a Water Network Maintenance Specialist, you will be a vital part of our Water Response team, ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving water-related issues promptly and efficiently. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and delivering effective solutions to address their concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to water supply and infrastructure.
  • Conduct routine repairs and maintenance on water network systems, including plant equipment and vehicles.
  • Adhere to strict health and safety protocols (Chapter 8 NSRWA) to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Utilize reporting systems to track performance, productivity, and service disruptions.
    • Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to shared goals.
    • Participate in the standby rota for out-of-hours work as required.

    Essential Skills and Qualifications:

    • Strong self-motivation and a commitment to teamwork.
    • Proficiency in basic IT skills, including digital equipment and applications.
    • Excellent written communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
    • A full, clean driving license is essential due to travel requirements within the Glasgow area.

    Desirable Skills and Experience:

    • Previous experience in water network maintenance or a related field.
    • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
