Position Overview

Role: Risk Portfolio Manager

Compensation: £45,000 - £72,000

Work Schedule: 2 days per week

Are you a seasoned Portfolio Risk Manager with a Practitioner level qualification seeking a new opportunity within a prominent organization? This role involves overseeing risk management across the Technology, Digital, and Data transformation sectors.

Our client is in search of an individual with a robust grasp of Portfolio Risk Management, focusing on the identification, management, and mitigation of risks throughout the Technology, Digital, and Data transformation landscape. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure that risks are recognized and addressed while still achieving the organization's business goals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Adhering to established timelines and budgets to meet strategic objectives while managing risk allocations.
  • Providing accurate reports on risk trends and exposures.
  • Aligning risk impacts and exposures with the monitoring and enhancement of mitigation strategies.
  • Conducting scenario analyses to ensure the robustness of contingency plans.
  • Enhancing risk management strategies by supporting the implementation of audit and assurance frameworks.

Essential Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Portfolio Risk Management and Assurance Leadership.
  • Solid understanding of key service and change delivery processes, including status reporting, assurance and audit, budgeting and estimation, risk and issue management, quality gates, and change management.
  • Qualified to Practitioner level in a recognized risk management methodology.
  • Familiarity with structured project management methodologies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the complete project delivery lifecycle, particularly Agile methodologies.
