We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relationship Manager to join our Operations team at eCapital Commercial Finance UK. Main Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Lead and engage a team to deliver an excellent operational service to clients within their allocated portfolios, setting targets to achieve this objective.
- Portfolio Reviews: Undertake monthly portfolio reviews with Client Managers, conducting a deep dive approach to review client performance in conjunction with risk.
- Team Performance Management: Drive team performance, with line management of Client Managers, to achieve company and individual targets outlined in development plans and 1:1 meetings.
- Client Visits and Onboarding: Conduct client visits and onboarding meetings, ensuring all pre-commencement conditions are completed before the first payment.
- Data Analysis: Review and analyze data, including book debt documentation, client contracts, financial information, and cash flows, to determine risk levels associated with clients.
- Client Complaints: Proactively manage client complaints, escalating them through appropriate channels or following UK Finance complaint policy.
- Funding and Fee Negotiations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, generating a knowledgeable understanding of their funding requirements and negotiating fees or funding limits.
- Coverage and Risk Management: Cover Client Managers in the event of absences, managing client payment requests, uploading invoices, and raising paperwork for HI and overpayments.
- Risk Expertise: Maintain a knowledgeable, careful, and intuitive risk expertise approach to identify and maintain considered and appropriate risk recoveries or exit strategies for each client.

Requirements- Experience: Previous experience within the Invoice Finance/discounting industry is essential, with previous experience in credit control and mentoring/ managing credit controllers preferred.
- Skills: Commercially driven, customer-centric, with practical and intuitive risk awareness. Ability to undertake numerical analysis and financial interpretation.
- Attributes and Behaviours: Ability to build rapport swiftly, good written and verbal communication skills, good listening and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to manage time effectively, negotiation skills, and creative thinking.
We require a full driving license and operate a hybrid policy, with 4 days a week in the office and 1 day from home.
