Job Description

GBV Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage access permissions for employees, including allocation and removal of licenses.
  • Conduct new employee onboarding, ensuring they have access to necessary systems and resources.
  • Resolve access-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Act as an overflow support for the IT Service Desk during peak periods.
  • Perform access audits and re-verify access for critical systems.
  • Remove unused software licenses and maintain accurate access documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in call handling and conflict resolution.
  • ITIL certification (V3 or V4) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Dynamics User Administration.
  • Experience with 0365 Admin Centers and User Administration within Dynamics 365 is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of data protection and regulatory compliance.

Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Dynamics User Administration.
  • Active Directory.
  • M365 licensing portal.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and customer service skills.

The successful candidate will be based in Swindon and will be required to work on-site 3 days per week. The salary for this role is £25,000 per annum.
