Key Responsibilities

Financial Management:
  • Lead the financial planning and management for all group entities, ensuring accurate year-end and monthly financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chairman and Senior Leadership Team to drive strategic initiatives, including market expansion and product development.
  • Deliver insightful financial performance reports on a regular basis to support informed decision-making.
  • Develop and manage budgets in partnership with department heads, analyzing variances and adjusting forecasts as necessary.
  • Implement and enhance risk management strategies to protect the organization’s financial integrity.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Enhance financial systems and controls to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Oversee product costing and manage banking relationships to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Identify and promote opportunities for operational improvements and strategic acquisitions.
  • Manage cash flow, currency exchange, and financing arrangements effectively.

Company Secretarial Duties:
  • Oversee the administration of legal contracts and liaise with legal representatives.
  • Manage the organization’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademark registrations and renewals.
  • Ensure adequate insurance coverage is maintained.
  • Administer the responsibilities related to the Defined Contribution pension scheme.

Candidate Profile:
  • Qualified accountant with extensive experience in senior financial roles, eager to contribute to strategic business development.
  • Background in manufacturing environments, ideally within SMEs, with comprehensive business involvement.
  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, adept at guiding and inspiring a finance team.
  • Strategic thinker with a practical approach, committed to business growth while upholding core values.
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety and HR principles is advantageous but not mandatory.
