About the Role

As a Business Development Manager at Johnson Controls International, you will be responsible for driving growth in the EMEALA data centre colocation vertical. Your primary objective will be to build relationships with key accounts and opportunities, expanding our presence in the Fire Suppression portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize account penetration of assigned accounts by providing a comprehensive range of Fire Suppression solutions, leveraging Johnson Controls' broad portfolio of offerings.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with assigned colocation customers, consulting engineers, and design build contractors to earn basis of design (BOD), influence specifications, and lead account and project strategies.
  • Develop and refine account management plans to achieve success, ensuring customer retention and growth of assigned accounts.
  • Support the entire pre-bid, bid, and post-bid processes to set our regional teams up for successful delivery and work with local, regional, and global operation teams to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving Fire Suppression sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to adapt and flex while working on influencing and guiding customers with a consultative approach.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment as an individual contributor.
  • Fluent language skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling Fire Suppression solutions within the data centre/colocation industry.
  • An existing network/relationships within the data centers industry, specifically around OFCI/CFCI programs.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce, Altify, and day-to-day software solutions.
