About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Receptionist to join our Physiotherapy Department at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our Physiotherapy team, ensuring the smooth operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm and welcoming reception service to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including patient information and appointment schedules
  • Coordinate and book appointments, ensuring efficient use of Physiotherapy time
  • Deal with patient inquiries, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying
  • Assist with the maintenance of our department's filing system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Provide support to the Physiotherapy team, including preparing patient records and assisting with administrative tasks
Requirements
  • GCSE in English or equivalent qualification at Grade C or above
  • RSA II or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Previous clerical experience, with a strong background in administration and customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external agencies
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
