About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Appointment Rota Administrator in South and East Leeds GP Group. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the management of appointment rotas and provide administrative assistance to our PCN Manager and Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage appointment rotas for PCN staff
  • Be the main point of contact for PCN staff when calling in sick and then contacting patients to rearrange their appointments
  • Provide administration support to the PCN Manager and Team Leads
  • Provide IT support and liaise between the PCN and GPIT
  • Manage the PCN MS Teams site
  • Maintain the PCN's file management system
  • Collate activity reports from each service to demonstrate the work undertaken for their patients
  • Undertake any ad hoc reporting as requested by the PCN Manager or members of the PCN leadership team
  • Format and distribute the PCN newsletter
  • Prepare, produce, review, and circulate all documents required for meetings in a timely fashion and to a high standard
  • Develop and maintain electronic systems and/or databases required for the role

Person Specification

  • Good standards of general education - minimum of 4 GCSEs, at Grade 4 or above or equivalent must include English Language
  • Keyboarding/typing qualification equivalent to RSA 3/OCR Advanced
  • Text/word processing or equivalent proven typing skills to a high standard
  • Demonstrable commitment to professional and personal development
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
