Job Title: Senior Management Accountant
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our team at Hays Senior Finance. As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to our business, working closely with various departments to drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partner across multiple departments to drive financial performance and growth
- Ownership of the Profit and Loss statement for cost centers
- Managing monthly accruals and various adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintaining the monthly intercompany reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
- Monthly payroll adjustments for Casual Workers to ensure timely and accurate payment
- Managing the Clothing Allowance schedule to ensure compliance with company policies
- Supporting budget holders across various departments to prepare budgets and reforecast
- Responsible for the management of two direct reports: Assistant Accountant and Finance Assistant, encouraging development and ensuring improvement of Accounts Payable KPIs
- Supporting the wider Finance team to ensure seamless financial operations
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or qualified by experience
- Retail or FMCG experience
- Previous experience working within a fast-paced environment required
- Excellent analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
