Job Title: Senior Management Accountant
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our luxury Retail company in the UK. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partner across multiple departments, providing financial guidance and support.
- Ownership of the P&L for cost centers, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Managing monthly accruals and various adjustments, maintaining the integrity of our financial records.
- Maintaining the monthly intercompany reconciliations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial information.
- Monthly payroll adjustments for Casual Workers, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Managing the Clothing Allowance schedule, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Supporting budget holders across various departments, assisting with budget preparation and reforecasting.
- Responsible for the management of two direct reports, Assistant Accountant and Finance Assistant, encouraging development and ensuring improvement of Accounts Payable KPIs.
- Supporting the wider Finance team, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
Requirements:
- Passion for retail and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or qualified by experience.
- Retail or FMCG experience, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
