Job Title: Registered Care Home Manager

A highly skilled and experienced Registered Care Home Manager is required to lead our exceptional care home in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care are delivered to our residents, while promoting their interests and understanding their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of staff, providing guidance, supervision, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care services.
  • Ensure business objectives and CQC compliance criteria are met by cultivating good working relationships with stakeholders and working collaboratively to maintain outstanding service and care levels.
  • Have full commercial control and work closely with the Customer Relations Team to maintain optimum occupancy through creative marketing strategies and cost control over fees and staffing.
  • Submit regular management information reports on occupancy levels, fees, budget controls, and staffing.
  • Work closely with the Hospitality and Maintenance teams to ensure the best standards in the home's environment, including food presentation, housekeeping, and care and maintenance of residents' clothing and building.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience as a Registered Care Home Manager with CQC.
  • Experience and knowledge of working in dementia care.
  • Proven track record in management and delivery of high-quality care within a residential setting and financial management planning.
  • Proven experience of managing a care team, encouraging, leading, and motivating others.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and care inspectorate.
  • Passionate, driven, confident, and resilient leader.
  • Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team.
