Physiotherapy Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapy Operational Site Lead to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Clinical Operating Model for Therapies and Dietetics, you will be responsible for managing the Physiotherapy service at St Richards Hospital, working closely with the Therapy Site Lead and Professional Lead for Physiotherapy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the operational and clinical management of the inpatient and non-MSK outpatient Physiotherapy services, ensuring high-quality patient care and effective service delivery.
- Contribute to the planning, development, and performance of the Physiotherapy service, working collaboratively with the Physiotherapy Leadership team.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote equality and diversity practices, ensuring equity of access to care for patients and job opportunities for staff.
- Maintain a clinical caseload, providing specialist assessment and treatment within the designated area, and contribute to the development of Physiotherapy-related training across the organisation.
- Collaborate with the Physiotherapy Leadership team to maintain and improve clinical governance, evidence-based practice, and quality assurance for the Physiotherapy service.
- Professional Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
- Relevant Masters Level qualification or equivalent
- HCPC Registration as a Physiotherapist
- Experience of Team Lead Management as Band 7
