Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Introduction Specialist to join our team at Life Sciences Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for coordinating the introduction of new products into our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Research and Development, Operations, and Procurement, to ensure a seamless and cost-effective product introduction.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for new products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage project timelines and costings for production, including tooling requirements and ordering.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure product and process quality.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve production bottlenecks, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of medical device regulations and industry standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a similar role, with a background in process engineering.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as an apprenticeship or degree in a related field.
  • Experience working with medical devices, assistive furniture, or postural support products is desirable, as is knowledge of medical device regulations.
  • Production process improvement experience, including efficiency gains in material utilization, time, cost, quality, and compliance.
