Key Responsibilities- Lead and Manage the HR Directorate: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the HR Directorate, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services and the development of a high-performing team.
- Strategic People Management: Develop and implement strategic people management plans that align with ONR's business objectives and values.
- Organisational Development: Lead and manage organisational development initiatives to drive cultural change, improve employee engagement, and enhance the overall performance of the organisation.
- Change Management: Develop and implement change management plans to support the delivery of strategic objectives and drive organisational transformation.
- Employee Relations: Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including employment law, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
- HR Systems and Processes: Develop and implement effective HR systems and processes to support the delivery of HR services and improve organisational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including senior leaders, employees, and external partners.
- Chartered Professional Status: Hold membership of a chartered professional body relevant to the HR Director role (e.g., CIPD) at level 5 or above.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of significant leadership experience in a HR function, with the ability to contribute effectively to senior and executive leadership teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop plans that align with business objectives and values.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Emotional Intelligence: High levels of emotional intelligence, with the ability to lead and manage diverse teams and drive cultural change.
- Competitive Salary: Circa £110,000 per annum, plus an attractive pension scheme.
