Chef Manager Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to lead our culinary team at an independent prep school in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 7 chefs and kitchen staff
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the needs of 350 pupils and 60 staff
  • Source and procure high-quality ingredients and produce
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef Manager or similar role
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary up to £43,000
  • A 52-week contract with full-time hours
