Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic Kitchen Team at nhow London Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a consistent high standard of food production and presentation, working closely with our Executive Chef and Sous Chef to ensure that all menu items are produced to the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your area of the kitchen to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure that all menu items are produced in accordance with our standards and that food hygiene is maintained at all times.
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to develop new dishes and menus.
  • Monitor portion and waste control, and report any environmental and ecological problems within the hotel.
  • Undertake duties as and when required by the Sous Chef, Executive Chef, and all senior management.
  • Assist in the correct storage of food items, including legal compliance.
  • Ensure that all temperature checks are carried out on fridges and freezers as required.
  • Monitor and guide the Kitchen Stewards to ensure a clean and tidy work environment at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a well-trained Demi-Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie in a restaurant and/or hotel environment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Flexible to do shift work, working 40 hours per week (5 out of 7 days).
  • Highly organized and ability to multi-task in a driven manner.
  • Team player.
