The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supplier Management professional to join our refreshed IT/OT Procurement and Supplier Management team. As a key member of the team, you will report directly to the Team Lead for IT Supplier Management and contribute to innovative projects across RWE's businesses.

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with high-value IT vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Lead change projects and implement process improvements to enhance operational governance and vendor performance.
  • Define and implement operational governance structures, ensuring compliance with defined policies and procedures.
  • Monitor vendor performance against service-level agreements and contracts, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Procurement Business Partners to capture and understand current and future demand, ensuring efficient contract management throughout the life cycle.
  • Work closely with Procurement Category Teams to develop and define sourcing strategies, ensuring performance is constantly evaluated and re-assessed.
  • Collaborate with team members to delegate tasks, support development, and drive team success.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in supplier management related procurement practices, with a deep understanding of IT/OT supply market trends and threats.
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • High flexibility, attention to detail, and a willingness to adapt to new approaches and ideas.
  • Strong organizational, change, and project management skills, with the ability to deliver results and work collaboratively with others.
  • Excellent proficiency in English; German language skills beneficial but not essential.
